Electric Locking
Door Applications
Automatic door operator
shall be Horizon HD3 unit, compliant with standards NZS:4239, powered by a D C motor through a toothed timing
belt for silent operation. Control to be in the form of a multifunction
microprocessor.
Activation
- By motion detection sensors
for two way traffic.
- By twin eyed safety beam across
opening. Beam heights shall be one at 100mm and the other
at 700mm above F.F.L.
Locking
Shall be by a Horizon
magnetic shearlock fitted within the operator. The mag lock will
be complete with an 8 hour battery backup in case of power failure.
Door Function
Control
Provide a five position
key mode PAD to control door functions. Positions as follows.

Auto |

For day time use. Doors operate automatically for two-way
traffic. |
| 2. Exit Only |
- Doors will
lock. Doors will open for traffic exiting the chamber. External
sensor will switch off not allowing entry. |
| 3. Lock |
- Doors will
be locked. External and internal sensors will not operate
door. |
| 4. Hold Open |
- Doors will
remain in fully open position. |
| 5. Half Open |
- Reduce door
width in cold or windy conditions |
Emergency Egress
Provide a green push
button with the words "Press for Exit" engraved in white. When
the button is pressed the doors will cycle open then close and
re-lock.
First Person Entry
Provide standard
keyswitch or stainless steel plate on the portal 1200mm above
pavement to admit first person. On activation doors will cycle
open then close and re-lock.
Failsafe
A battery failsafe
will open the doors automatically in the event of a power failure
while doors are in the 'Auto' mode. The failsafe battery will
drive the doors open in the 'Exit Only and Lock' mode upon pressing
the emergency exit push button.
Interface Options
Fire Alarm Contacts
A set of clean contacts
shall be provided within the operator for connection of the operator
to the fire alarm system. These contacts are voltage free normally open. In
an alarm state the fire security system will close the contacts
to drive the door to the fully open position. Running of wiring
from the panel to the operator is the responsibility of the fire
system contractor.
Security Contacts
Provide a bond sensor with voltage free contacts so security system can monitor closed door.
These security contacts are provided within the unit. Connection
by Security Contractor. |
