Manual Locking and Non-locking Door Applications

Automatic door operator shall be Horizon HD3 unit, compliant with standards NZS:4239, powered by a D C motor through a toothed timing belt for silent operation. Control to be in the form of a multifunction microprocessor.

Activation

  1. By motion detection sensors for two way traffic.
  2. By twin eyed safety beam across opening. Beam heights shall be one at 100mm and the other at 700mm above F.F.L.
Door Function Control

Provide a five position mode pad to control door functions. Positions as follows.

  1. Auto - For day time use. Doors operate automatically for two-way traffic.
  2. Exit Only - External sensor will switch off to allow persons to exit the building only.
  3. Hold Open - Doors will remain in fully open position.
  4. Half Open - Reduce door width in cold or windy conditions.
  5. Off - Unit switched off. All sensors disconnected.
Failsafe

A battery failsafe will open the doors automatically in the event of a power failure.

NOTE: If locking is required on this auto unit it would be in the form of a manual lock fitted to the door/s.
